Matt was a real inspiration to so many people. He never complained about his limitations in life. Passionate about Ipswich Town Football Club, he was a season ticket holder for 40 years.

When I met Matt all those years ago, I knew I met someone very special and that I would want in my life forever more. He had the kindest soul and was always thinking of others even when he was struggling himself. Matt was heaven sent and has now returned. I look forward to seeing him again. I will never forget you mate. A true friend and I love you dearly xx

I was one of Matts PAs for only a short time but we built a good relationship with lots of laughter. We had a lot of fun going to Headway, he was fiercely competitive so I d help him win quizzes and games, but not so good at bowls!! He’d say oh Sarrrrrrrah!!!! when I was completely off centre! We enjoyed chair yoga with one of his favourites being Lion pose!!! He had a great roar! And non stop talking football mainly Ipswich of course and never uttering the “N” word🤣🤣

You were so lovely Matt, it was a privilege to spend afternoons having lunch with you and your parents. Never a dull moment with you. Always made me laugh when joel told the story about you throwing the mug at headway. I will miss you matt. Keep shining up there ✨️
